In 5 years, as the founder and Chief Co-ordinator I hope to see the following :-

1) Competent and Dedicated Co-ordinators who are willing to take full responsibility and not afraid to make decisions. They will have deep trust and respect and genuine love for one another. They will be extremely understanding and sensitive to each other’s needs. They will be willing to go the extra mile for Ankur kala.

2) Marketing at all levels – all over India – Ankur kala will be known for our BRAND of integrity and high quality in all our products. 3) Our women’s empowerment training will continue to truly empower both urban and rural women. This will include mental and spiritual aspects of their lives. They will become women of substance. They will be able to hold their heads high and stand for the TRUTH.

4) Ankur Kala will have a good, stable endowment fund. We will not struggle every 3 – 6 months searching desperately for funds. Ankur Kala will enjoy the Biblical Prosperity and at the same time will be generous and kind to other smaller groups. Ankur Kala will not misuse even a single paise and will remain highly accountable for each and every expense. Ankur Kala’s prosperity will be a sense of “Well Being”, Good Health, a great sense of dignity and gratitude for the basic needs like education, housing and will not be in want – nor will we have a “Scarcity Mentality”. On the other hand all at Ankur Kala will experience a feeling of Goodness, Kindness, well-lbeing and inner peace, serenity and happiness within oneself towards one another. Each one will be filled with an attitude of gratitude!

5) Ankur Kala will continue to treasure and practice a true Ashram Spirit of Simplicity, High Thinking and Simple Living.

6) Ankur Kala will work more and more with rural marginalized women of Bengal as they are extremely marginalized and under privileged.

7) Gradually Ankur Kala will be an organization run TOTALLY for the women, by the women – at ALL levels.

8) Last but not the least the Ankur Kala empowerment, marketing, self-help model – holistic in nature will be an inspiration both at the state level and at the national level where this effective model can be seen as a great tool to eradicate poverty and could even be studied and implemented by the Planning Commission in the future.
